Nest Chartered Surveyors is an independent RICS regulated firm carrying out residential surveys and valuations throughout Essex, London, Suffolk and Hertfordshire.

We combine the latest technology with our expertise to provide you with an efficient, professional service with a personal touch. Our aim is to ensure you make a fully informed decision about what is likely to be the most expensive purchase you will ever make.

After every RICS survey conducted by Nest Chartered Surveyors, the surveyor will contact you afterwards to give you a quick run-through of their findings and flag up any major issues, ahead of receiving the full report. Should you have any questions following receipt of the full survey, the surveyor will be available to go through anything with you – all as part of the service.

Excellent

This site was very helpful, I received three quotes from qualified RICS surveyors. One of them was far too expensive and sent me too many e mails and rang me, I was not impressed. The second was a bit less money. The third was excellent, The Nest. Their e mail was pleasant and their fee fair. They have my vote, and when the time comes Mr.Firkettle will be the surveyor we engage. He deserves five stars, the missing star is for the expensive firm.

Honesty & integrity

I found Nest on this site and didn’t really know who to go with initially. They were very prompt and efficient in contacting me and setting things up.
What I was most impressed with was the honesty and integrity. Stephen suggested I only needed a level 2 rather than the 3 which I requested, which was obviously cheaper. however when expressing some of my concerns with the property, he agreed to come back to do an additional test at no extra cost. Brilliant service with customers best interests being a priority.

Excellent survey

We've never done a survey before as we can examine a lot on houses ourselves. This time the property is quite old so we had one done and what an incredible report this was (RICS level 3). Nearly 100 pages of detailed information with extremely helpful photos. Lots of things we hadn't looked at or couldn't access (drone footage of the roof and top the property were very helpful) and the descriptions and advice were spot on. Good tone of voice (ie not alarmist) and excellent suggestions throughout. I'd really recommend anyone buying a property to get one of these - it was worth every penny. Very professional company - I would highly recommend.
