I am an independent Chartered Surveyor who provides a wide range of surveying services in the Sussex area.

I undertake all surveys personally and I can provide help and assistance after completing the survey at no extra cost.

The survey will include photographs and where necessary estimates with building surveys.

I can provide thermal imaging of the propery to ascertain cold bridging and any damp issues.

All fees are fixed and include VAT and ther are no other costs irrespective of the further assistance that may be required.

My aim is to provide an in-depth professional survey and report at a cost effective price.

The survey is normally carried out within 5 working days of instruction, always subject to access, and the report will then be produced and emailed within 5 working days after the survey has been undertaken.

Please feel free to phone or email for more information.

A comprehensive and easy to understand report

The website was easy to use and I was quickly contacted by local surveyors who gave me details of their company and their prices. I instructed Andrew Hickin who produced a comprehensive and easy to understand Level 3 report on the property I wished to purchase. In the end I did not proceed with the purchase as the remedial work required was both extensive and expensive. Andrew has since provided a survey report for another property - again very informative and I am proceeding with the purchase. In addition to the written report (emailed within 7 working days), Andrew also offers an informal telephone conversation immediately after the inspection to go through the main issues.
