Charging and Payments

Invoicing and Payments

Invoices are generated on the last day of each calendar month for all referrals delivered during the month, and sent by email to the office designated your accounts office within a few days after the end of the month. If you require copy invoices, printable versions are available from the Invoice Reporting section of your account control panel.

Payment is due on the 14th of the month following the invoice date.

Payment by Direct Debit

Payments are taken by Direct Debit on or shortly after the 14th (the due date). Please note that all payments are shown on your bank statement as AZAB Ltd.

Credit Limits

By default accounts have an initial monthly credit limit of 150 lead credits. When your lead value reaches this point no further leads will be generated until payment is cleared. This limit may be raised upon request or at our discretion, taking into account your normal activity.

If you would prefer to cap your expenditure at a lower level, simply email us at enquiries@localbuildingsurveyor.co.uk and ask us to set your credit limit at the level that suits you best.

How Invoices are Calculated

Invoices are calculated using lead 'tokens', and the number of lead tokens used is shown on your invoice.

A Standard lead = 1 token, and a 'Premium' lead (e.g. for a Building Survey) has a higher token value, e.g. 1.2575 tokens.

Thus a standard lead token value of £3.30 would give a premium token value of £4.15

The token value of the lead is stored for each search, and is displayed in the Your Leads report in your control panel.

At invoice run rime, our system adds all the token values together, deducts any credits applied during the period, and calculates the £ value of the invoice.

This is why, unless you are only receiving 'Standard' leads, the number of lead tokens on your invoice will not match the number of leads you have actually received. If you are receiving 'Premium' leads (e.g. for Building Surveys) the number of lead tokens will exceed the number of leads sent.

You can easily check the number of leads and the value using the Your Leads reporting tools in your control panel.

We hope to complete on a purchase before the end of March (!!) so finding a surveyor who will act fast is a priority. I filled out the request early evening and had one reply later that same evening and it even stated the earliest date the survey could be done. We have gratefully accepted the offer and booked the work by paying the deposit. Result !

I used Tony from The Good surveyor , and found her to be polite and very approachable during our conversations on setting up the Survey for my property. She was punctual on the day of the survey and followed all the Government guidelines on Covid19 during the visit. All round very happy with the Report and service from The Good surveyor, she lives up to that name without fault.

Local Building Surveyors made an overwhelming job an easy, quick and successful one. I was contacted straight away by companies. I made my decision to go with a local company and my survey was booked for a week later. I would recommend them.

It was easy to find a surveyor in an area we are not familiar with. Information provided from our serach about the surveyor was informative. Our surveyor, Jake Rainsbury, contacted us within 24 hours, he is very efficient and professional. He contacted our estate agent and all has been arranged to our satisfaction.

Chris Seal was very helpful, whilst we ended up not needing his service he was professional and extremely knowledgeable. Chris provide us with pro-bona advise that resulted in us not needing a site survey. I would have no hesitation in recommending Chris to those requiring his services.
