Company Details and Offices

Company Details

Your company details are displayed in search results and included in the email sent to prospective clients.

This is your "shop window" and your profile should therefore be written in a way that "sells" your practice; emphasising any particular strengths and areas of expertise.

You are limited to approximately 250 words, so we recommend keeping your profile concise and to the point - most users won't take in lots of text when they scan the results, so we recommend using bullet points to get over your main benefits over other surveyors who may be listed.

You may insert tables for clarity and add links to your website if you wish, but you cannot add images, and most other formatting options have been disabled.

We recommend previewing your profile to check it is displayed as you wish - simply click the "Preview profile" button.

Profile Preview

Click on the Preview Profile button to preview your profile.

Note: the branch specific information and any search specific fields on the left are empty in preview mode. These will be populated with the branch and search information during a real search on the site.

Test Searches

Please do not carry out "test" searches on the site to preview your results - please use the Profile Preview facility on the Company Details page.

Price Checking

Likewise, please do not carry out test searches on the site, as this is really annoying for other surveyors. We have a range of price guide tools available, and if you are in need of guidance, please contact us - we ar very happy to help you.

Additional Offices

You may add as many offices to your account as you wish.

Each office can offer its own range of services, and pricing for services can be varied by each office.

Referrals for each office are sent to the email address specified for the office, so each office can be effectively autonomous if desired. If you wish leads for all offices to be sent to a single administration point, it is important to use that email address for all offices.

Offices may not conflict on postcodes - if office A is set to receive referrals for a set of postcodes, those postcodes will not be able to be selected for any other office. To check which postcodes have been allocated to which office in your account, simply click the "View all your selected postcodes" link.

There is no need to add additional accounts for different offices unless you wish each office to be invoiced and charged separately.

Deleting an Office

If you delete an office the services and postcodes are not automatically released, but remain assigned to that office. They will not show in search results until you reassign them to an active office.

The deleted office will still show in the Your Postcodes list so you can remove them from the deleted office and re-assign them to another office even if the office has been deleted. Once you have removed the postcodes fom the office it will cease to appear.

I used GNP Structural Surveys. They responded very quickly and gave a quote which was very reasonable. The surveyor called me after the survey and discussed his findings. I now understand all the faults at the house, and he saved me from making mistake. They are very professional and I would like to thank them for their expert service, and how quick I got report back.

We hope to complete on a purchase before the end of March (!!) so finding a surveyor who will act fast is a priority. I filled out the request early evening and had one reply later that same evening and it even stated the earliest date the survey could be done. We have gratefully accepted the offer and booked the work by paying the deposit. Result !

I used Tony from The Good surveyor , and found her to be polite and very approachable during our conversations on setting up the Survey for my property. She was punctual on the day of the survey and followed all the Government guidelines on Covid19 during the visit. All round very happy with the Report and service from The Good surveyor, she lives up to that name without fault.

Local Building Surveyors made an overwhelming job an easy, quick and successful one. I was contacted straight away by companies. I made my decision to go with a local company and my survey was booked for a week later. I would recommend them.

It was easy to find a surveyor in an area we are not familiar with. Information provided from our serach about the surveyor was informative. Our surveyor, Jake Rainsbury, contacted us within 24 hours, he is very efficient and professional. He contacted our estate agent and all has been arranged to our satisfaction.

Of the two surveyors who contacted me, I chose one who has been extremely helpful. Also, the price quoted is extremely favourable.

Chris Seal was very helpful, whilst we ended up not needing his service he was professional and extremely knowledgeable. Chris provide us with pro-bona advise that resulted in us not needing a site survey. I would have no hesitation in recommending Chris to those requiring his services.
